There are numerous decisions to make when enrolling to study. Not only is the course important but also the college you choose to study at. These are the top five reasons HETC continues to be a leader in the education industry.

1. STUDENT FOCUS
The college was established over twelve years ago and started by offering the basic needs of tutoring as a service to students helping them to pass their University studies. The college grew on the foundations of ensuring that students had the skills to complete their qualifications. HETC focused on each student’s core competencies and helped them to develop further in areas they were not strong. Student focus continues to be the core of the education process at HETC today.

2. STRONG VISION
The driving vision of the college stems from the following quote;
‘Empowering people to become persons of influence.’ – Nina Chen HETC CEO
Through education, HETC hopes to influence others who will, in turn, follow suit. Giving inspiration to students, members of HETC and the broader community is a huge part of the college’s culture. Following this vision allows for the expansion of a positive environment and people to grow in realms of opportunity.

3. SIGNIFICANT COURSE CONTENT
Each course has been developed by a group of qualified and experienced teaching professionals. The content in each course is relevant to today’s industries and provides students with the resources required to pursue careers in their chosen fields. HETC aspires to give students a competitive edge with relevant skills and techniques they can use now in everyday life and throughout their careers. All courses are nationally recognised qualifications.

4. REAL TIME LEARNING
At any time, a student is able to talk in person with their course trainer/teacher. Unlike other institutions where you have to wait a certain time for lectures or classes to get advice, at HETC students have the online facilities to talk with a trainer at a time that suits them. Student’s questions are answered promptly and explanations are given straight away to help assist with learning and studies. This allows students a flexible learning environment that fits in with their lifestyle.

5. CONTACT WITH STUDENT GROUPS ON FACEBOOK
Each faculty has its own Facebook group allocated to allow students to interact with each other and their trainers/teachers on social media. This allows all online students a hub to share information, meet other students, be inspired by other student’s work and discuss topics of choice.
It allows an open learning environment that can be utilised any time of day or night. This gives students extra support in their studies when needed and keeps students involved in the HETC culture.
