This qualification reflects the roles of community services, case management and social housing workers involved in the management, coordination and/or delivery of person-centred services to individuals, groups and communities.
You must complete at least 100 hours of work placement providing you with real world skills, so you can hit the ground running.

The Diploma of Community Services is delivered online. HETC’s online study gives you the flexibility to study in a time and place that is most comfortable for you.
Students will need to have access to a computer with internet capabilities and basic computer skills to complete this course.
As part of this course, students are required to complete at least 100 hours of work placement.
HETC will assist students to find a suitable community services workplace in their local area.
Students are recommended to spend around 25 hours per week study.
